About Assessments

The team at Three Leaf Psychology can conduct a variety of assessments (including ADHD, Autism, Intelligence, Personality, Vocational Assessments, Learning Disorders), for clients ranging across the lifespan.

These assessments can help us to understand a person’s learning needs and social, emotional, and behavioural functioning, and may also be used as part of the diagnostic process.

ADHD Assessments

An assessment for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) usually involves multiple steps, to ensure for a thorough assessment process. This usually involves:

  • an intake interview

  • administration of questionnaires and cognitive assessments

  • gathering information from additional sources (such as family members)

  • a structured diagnostic interview.

 

A report is then written which includes test results, outcomes, and recommendations.

Autism Assessments

Our autism assessments are committed to providing thorough, neuroaffirming evaluations designed to identify autism in individuals across the lifespan. Utilising a combination of standardised tools, observations, and interviews, our experienced professionals assess communication styles, social interactions, and unique behavioral patterns as part of a comprehensive assessments. By embracing the strengths and individuality of each person with autism, we help individuals and families navigate their journey towards enhanced social, educational, and emotional well-being in a supportive and empowering environment.

Intelligence Testing

Intelligence tests, or IQ tests, are comprehensive evaluations measure various aspects of cognitive functioning, including verbal comprehension, perceptual reasoning, working memory, and processing speed. These tests can help in the diagnosis of learning disabilities, ADHD, and cognitive impairments, and help to understand your cognitive strengths and weaknesses.

Personality Assessment

Our personality assessments are administered using the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), a widely used tool for evaluating various aspects of personality and psychopathology. The PAI provides in-depth insights into an individual's emotional and interpersonal functioning, helping to identify patterns related to anxiety, depression, stress, and personality disorders. These assessments are designed to support accurate diagnoses and inform effective treatment planning. By understanding your unique personality traits and challenges, we can develop tailored interventions to enhance your psychological well-being and overall quality of life.

Our Vocational Assessments are dedicated to helping individuals discover their career potential and navigate their professional paths.
